Intellectual Property Notice
Rights to artwork remain the sole property of Joanne Dixon including after purchase. This includes the purchase of originals, commissions, prints and current and/or future reproductions of any kind. The purchase of any item does not grant the customer permission to create an NFT, print and distribute in any form or reproduce in any way by means of profit and/or otherwise. Collectors may not reproduce artwork in any way without express written permission from the artist. Posting images on social media of the items purchased are permitted.
Liability
The customer is responsible for the correct handling/opening of the product once it’s received. There is no refund, exchange, replacement or compensation for mishandling products. For example: dirty fingerprints, creasing or tearing of prints when opening the parcel, etc.
Please be cautious when unrolling a fine art print from a mailing tube. To ensure no damage is done, carefully remove the print from the tube and let gravity do the work of unrolling it. DO NOT roll it back on itself and be very careful as fingerprints can leave permanent marks.
Returns, Damages & Refunds
Change of Mind - Please carefully read through the product details as we do not accept returns due to a change of mind.
Damages - Compensation is due if the product is damaged during transit. If the product arrives damaged please document with photos and email joanne@joannedixon.com.au. Once these details are received we can lodge a claim with the postal service.
Incorrect Items - Only faulty merchandise or products not covered under consumer guarantee will return shipment be paid by the seller. If you receive a wrong/faulty product please return it to us in its original condition for either a refund/exchange. The return address is: PO BOX 16, Beaconsfield, VIC 3807, Australia.
Customer Address - We are not responsible for undelivered packages based on incorrect shipping addresses given by the customer. Please note we are unable to change the delivery address once the order has been shipped.
European Union 14 day Cooling Off Period - If the product is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. The product must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You will need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds - You will be notified once we have received/inspected your return and inform you if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow time for your bank/credit card company to process the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please email joanne@joannedixon.com.au.
Taxes & Duties International Orders
Any applicable taxes and duties are not included in the checkout total. These are determined by the customs agency in the destination country. Some countries charge import taxes while others do not. The customs agency will notify the recipient either by mail, phone, or email to pay these charges, so that the shipment can continue to its destination.
It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any duties, value added tax or other similar charges. If you refuse to pay these additional amounts, your delivery will be returned to us. Provided that the product is in its original condition, we will refund you the cost of your purchase (minus the costs of shipping to your country).
Items are declared at purchase value for exporting and under no circumstance will documents be falsified.
Shipping Policy
We are dedicated to shipping your orders as soon as possible and keep all fine art prints in stock. Please note that on occasion, delays in dispatching orders may occur if a print needs to be restocked. If this does occur we will notify you of any delays via email.
Australian Shipping cost is $13.90 for Standard Shipping (including tracking number and signature on delivery). Most orders are shipped within 24 hours and with Standard Shipping arrive in 2-7 business days.
International Shipping cost varies due to location and we mainly use Standard Shipping (including tracking number and signature on delivery). Most orders are shipped within 24 hours and with Standard Shipping arrive in 1-3 weeks.
Express International Shipping is currently the only option available to some countries. Overseas disruptions mean deliveries may take longer than usual, arriving in 2-3 weeks.
A3 art prints are shipped in a flat rigid mailer and A2 art prints are shipped rolled in a rigid mailing tube. All prints will be shipped with Australian Post and include insurance covering the total cost of the order.
Art Courier- Large original artworks (specified in their product description) require shipping by an art courier to ensure their safe arrival. We work with a few different art couriers and shipping price varies by size and location.
